The WA Water Corporation has adopted a security through diversity approach in managing water supplies to Perth, however continued changes to our climate and population growth mean there is still a need to maintain supplies from “traditional” surface water and groundwater sources.

This paper aims to demonstrate how the Corporation is applying various hydrographic techniques to maintain the security of supply from climate dependant sources:-
