Position Title: Environmental Systems Specialist

Location: Hemmant, South East Queensland

Salary: Permanent role, $100,000 + Bonus + Super

Due to continued growth, we are excited to announce that we are seeking an Environmental Systems Specialist to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing ongoing support for existing, new, and future systems.
  • Design, preparation, assembly, and installation of monitoring systems and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients, discerning their requirements and working with them to develop robust, quality solutions.
  • Support and promote the range of Xylem products where required.
  • Responsible for fostering a client relationship that allows for additional on-going works in the future.
  • Provides technical advice/support to customers on a range of Xylem system solutions.
  • Ensures compliance with Xylem Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to overcome technical problems in consultation peers.
  • Communicates and engages with the Analytics System team on a deliverable timetable of works.

IMPACT

Impact of the role is local/operational, primarily delivering projects, providing integrated solutions, supporting demonstration systems, providing technical expertise to our client base. 

INNOVATION

Problem solving skills are required to manage day to day technical issues and overcome basic problems with systems projects.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Technical expertise in typical environmental monitoring systems.  Demonstrated experience in an engineering environment. An understanding of Environmental and Industrial industry segment, combined with qualifications / experience in the field of Hydrology / Engineering.  Mathematical/Science aptitude is desirable. Previous experience with installation or field work.
