Under the auspices of an Operational Hydrology Steering Group, a proposed programme for quality assurance was prepared by Water Resources Survey staff. After circulation to all Regional Councils (who have local water usage administation responsibilities) and WRS staff, the amended report was endorsed by the steering Group, and has been implemented within the Water Resources survey and several Regional Councils .
