How to get there 

 
The AHA 2023 Conference will be held at The Event Centre at Panthers Penrith Rugby Leagues Club located at 123 Mulgoa Road Penrith. 
 
The event will kick off at 5:30pm on Monday 22nd May with a Welcome Reception hosted at the Squires Terrace Bar at Panthers Penrith Rugby Leagues Club. Please note you will be required to sign into the Club to enter the premises to go through to the bar. 
 
Conference registrations will also be open at the Squires Terrace Bar during the Welcome Reception.

Main Conference Room

The conference plenary sessions will be held in the Ron Mulock AO Room on Level 1 of The Event Centre. Breakout sessions will be held in the neighbouring Woodriff and Hunter rooms. For a detailed view of the Program please visit https://aha.net.au/conferences/aha-2023-conference/program/

Dress Code

The conference dress code is ‘business casual attire’.

Conference Dinner – Wednesday, 24 May

The conference dinner will be hosted at the Chairmans Lounge at Bluebet Stadium. The Chairman’s Lounge is a contemporary venue overlooking Panthers Stadium, home to the mighty Penrith Panthers NRL team. It boasts a panoramic view (270 Degrees) across the stadium stretching to the Blue Mountains.

The venue, BlueBet Stadium is located on Mulgoa Road across from the Panthers Penrith Rugby Leagues Club.

The dress code for dinner is business attire.

Offsite Regatta – Wednesday, 24 May 2023

The AHA 2023 Conference is proud to announce it will be hosting a Regatta workshop on Day 2 of the conference. The offsite Regatta, sponsored by Xylem on Wednesday morning will provide an opportunity for practitioners and organisations to discuss and display applications of discharge measurement techniques. Providing opportunities to compare and share knowledge on data collection techniques, procedures, instruments and applications with industry experts and peers.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments to measure and calculate discharge on the Hawkesbury /Grose and Nepean Rivers at Yarramundi.

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing and any necessary equipment. Transport will be provided to and from the site or you are welcome to use own transport.

Setup will commence from 8.30am on Wednesday morning. Shuttle bus from the conference venue will leave at 8am.

Warragamba Dam Field Trip – Wednesday, 24 May

Register via the Mobile Attendee App

A field trip to Warragamba Dam will be hosted on Wednesday 24th May and will be limited to 40 people. Our bus will depart from the conference venue after lunch, arriving at 2pm for a presentation and sight of the dam with the WaterNSW team.

1:30pm – Bus departure from the conference venue
2:00pm – Arrival at Warragama Dam
2:00 – 4.00pm – Presentation and site visit
4:00pm – Return Bus
4:30pm – Arrive back at conference venue, free time and refresh before dinner
